The mission of the Art
Guild of Orange Park, Inc. is to promote the visual fine arts in Clay County and Northeast Florida. We strive to
provide on-going opportunities for the development and enrichment of artist members as well as interested members of
the community through educational programs and skill improving workshops. Throughout the year, we present exhibitions and events geared toward advancing
community awareness and appreciation of the talents of the gifted visual artists in and around our community.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Art Guild of Orange Park, Inc. participates in a number of art programs throughout the county. Each spring members
assist in setting up and monitoring the art exhibit at the Clay County Fair. Guild members serve as judges for school
art shows and provide programs upon request to local schools. Members have also been active in community events
such as the Concert on the Green, the annual Town of Orange Park Fall Festival, the Carrie Clarke Day, sponsored by the Orange
Park Historical Society and assisted the local American Cancer Society.
GOALS
Our immediate goal is to increase our building fund assets to fill the need for appropriate workshop, meeting and exhibit
space and to provide a Visual Arts Center to serve the growing needs of our membership and the community.
